Difference between USA power and EU power

I’m doing this blog because Mom, my siblings, Todd and I are going to England soon and we need a to know the difference so we know more about England. At the bottom there will be a link to one . It will be for so you if your going to Europe you can read this to be prepared for your trip to Europe. I hope this is useful for you.

The plugs in Europe have a charge at 230 volts at 50 Hz. USA plug charge is 120 volts at 60 Hz. The charger is also different shaped. EU is a G type plug. We use A and B plugs. If you want to see what most type look like click here.

Most adapters are very cheap and about $5 – 10 dollars. Most come in a pack so if you need 3 it will cost about $10. For that pack click here.   1. UK power is 240 volts. USA Dryers are 240 as well. An electric shock in UK is worse than in USA as it is double the power. Grandad has the set of chargers. Phone chargers are different in UK than US too. Your Blog was most helpful. Today 1 British pound equals $1.32 so remember that when shopping.
    Grandad booked a 7 seater van for our trip in England. They drive on the opposite side of the road there. Gas or Petrol as they call it in England is sold by the Liter not the gallon & is much more expensive than USA.
